Ascom US Announces Sales Management Realignment to Support Recent Expansion

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – Ascom (US) Inc., a leading developer of on-site wireless communications solutions today announced that it has restructured the management of the sales team to support the recent significant expansion of its sales organization.  As was announced last week, Ascom added 10 wireless experts to the sales team all of which are deployed within their respective regions across the US.  To accommodate this extraordinary expansion, Bill Foster former Western Region Sales Director has been promoted to VP of Sales – Americas West and Allen Crockett former National Director of Alliance Partners has been promoted to VP of Sales – Americas East.  Allen and Bill each have over 20 years high-technology sales and marketing experience.

The Ascom business in North America continues to grow rapidly as new products and channels are added. The Ascom Freeset IP-DECT and FreeNET VoWiFi systems offer customers two different technology choices when installing a standards-based on-site wireless solution. Both technology solutions offer portable handsets that are durable with large backlit displays, hands free operation, full-duplex push-to-talk, and personal alarm features including man-down and no movement indication. The Ascom UNITE Messaging Suite can easily be added to either wireless platform which enables automated text messages and alerts to be sent from any system or production equipment directly to the wireless handset of the mobile worker.
